The founder of Cove Central worked with the Massachusetts State Police, Massachusetts Emergency Management Association and The National Guard to develop and demonstrate VoIP Technology's ability to reliably capture and transmit real time voice and video traffic through a secure network (WLAN 802.11b) to a central management point during the Boston Marathon.
He then joined a NY-based Managed IT Service provider servicing 1,000+ users from Mid-Atlantic to the Northeast to include organizations like National Australia Bank Ltd., CSC, Mount St. Mary’s Hospitals and Health Center, as well as emerging software and startup ventures.
He formed Verdigrid IT Solutions which helped businesses with remote staff and locations with their computer systems, network and infrastructure needs, as well as converting their legacy phone systems to VoIP as part of their Managed IT Services.
Cove Central was established to offer VoIP solutions to businesses nationwide, using the experience gained and technical resources built over 20 years working with LAN/WAN, virtual (cloud) and wireless network infrastructure and integrating business telecommunications.
Cove Central Communications became a 3CX Gold Partner within 3 months of joining the program.
Cove Central opened its first showroom in Freeport, ME. This fully equipped facility, allows customers to get a "hands on" demonstration of desk phone styles and advanced conference room eqipment.
